Summary: 'Women in Sync' is a collection of stories about
the experiences of women and their organisations who have become
part of the Association of Progressive Communications' Women's Networking
Support Programme, or who have worked closely with the programme.
These stories are designed to be a toolkit for women's electronic
networking. This three-part toolkit is a reflection of the lessons
learned as a network and an acknowledgement of challenges faced
in a world increasingly transformed by information and communication
technologies. The first toolkit documents the reflections of those
who worked onsite at the 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing
and Huairo (the site of the NGO Forum) and offsite from all over
the glove. The second toolkit contains articles that recount and
examine the growth of networks. In the third volume women from diverse
geographies and cultures tell how their communities are using the
Internet and how they themselves are redefined by the experiences.
