My first language is not English, can you help me use Siyanda?
Yes! We have found a few websites to help you translate information from English into other languages and back. These tools are not perfect, but they help. These are:

- Langenberg (English, French, German, Danish, Spanish, Finnish, Czech and Italian)

How do I add the work we are doing to the Siyanda database?
You can submit your own work, or suggest other work that you find useful either by filling the online form, or by sending an e-mail to siyanda @ ids.ac.uk.

What is Siyanda's editorial policy?
BRIDGE welcomes submission of materials from Southern-focused practitioners engaged in the study of gender and development issues. We encourage the submission of relevant, accurate, objective and timely (last three years) resources. Examples of submissions include: gender country profiles, case studies, research papers, bibliographies.

Submissions should be free from obscene, harassing or threatening content, or they will not be considered for publication on our website. All materials will be reviewed by BRIDGE and only successful submissions will be put on the website. Please note that BRIDGE reserves the right for full editorial control over every resource submitted to us.


What is Siyanda's copyright policy?
Copyright of materials published on this website remains with the authors. Unless it is indicated that rights are reserved, any on-line resource may be copied or quoted without restrictions, provided both source (Siyanda) and authorship are properly acknowledged.

How can I view a .pdf file?
To view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files, you need to download the free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® software. You can also convert most adobe PDF files into a text or an html file and have it sent to you by e-mail.
