Gender equality, 1999 Caribbean UNIFEM provide technical assistance to promote gender equality in 3 priority areas identified in the Caribbean Platform for Action:
1) reducing poverty,
2) reducing Violence against Women,
3) promoting women’s access to decision making. It will also pilot the Operationalisation of UNIFEM’s ABC (Advocacy, Brokerage and Constituency building) strategy.
