I. Advert: Overview Report Writers required for forthcoming BRIDGE Cutting Edge Packs on Gender and Care, and on Gender and Governance

BRIDGE is currently recruiting two Overview Report Writers for forthcoming Cutting Edge Packs - one on Gender and Care, and the other on Gender and Governance. The application deadline is: 19th October 2007

Each Overview Report will comprise a maximum of 10,000 words, including bibliography and references. It will be completed in the next few months over a total of 25 consultancy days.

Applicants should:

- Have operational experience
- Have a clear, accessible writing style
- Have a specialisation in Gender and Care, or Gender and Governance
- Have a good understanding of the latest debates in research, policy and practice in the theme area
- Be Southern-focused, either working on or in the global South.

Information about abortion can be hard to access and difficult to compare. This online database provides a single central point for obtaining reliable and standardised data from over 20 countries divided into five categories, and supported by a glossary and other tools.
